Welcome to the Waterloo Elementary School PTA Website for the 2011-2012 school year.
Our Website is a resource for parents, students, and staff members. Through the website, you can stay current on PTA activities at our school.
The PTA is an important school partner - we help provide opportunities for parents to get involved in their child's elementary school experience, we hold many family activities that allow students and families to get to know one another, and we support our school and the staff through staff appreciation activities and classroom enrichment funds.

Waterloo’s Spring Carnival is Saturday, April 28, 2012! –
The Carnival will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., rain or shine. We need your help to make it happen! More than 200 volunteers are needed to make this day memorable for our students and community. To volunteer, please complete and return the carnival volunteer form [download here] by
Friday, March 23rd. Two hours of your time will make a huge difference! This is also a great opportunity for high school students to earn service credit hours!

Screen-Free Week 2012 is scheduled from April 28 through May 4, 2012.
Waterloo Elementary School will be participating in Screen-Free Week 2012, a nationwide event sponsored by Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood
and celebrated by schools, families, and other civic and community groups each year. During Screen-Free Week,
millions of children and adults pledge to spend seven days screen-free, including no TV, DVDs, playing video games or playing on the computer
(except if it is required for a homework or work assignment). Download additional information about Screen-Free Week, the Prize Patrol and the
Family Picnic which will be held on ,Friday, May 4th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. here. To participate in Screen-Free Week and/or the Family Picnic,
please complete and return the registration form
